Templer HomeBuild are currently looking for experienced Kitchen Fitters to join our successful responsive maintenance and larger works team based in Newton Abbot.
We are requiring the Kitchen Fitters to be completing a variety of residential works, working in occupied, void properties and communal areas around the Newton Abbot area. This is a excellent opportunity for the right individuals, offering you stability and bonus incentive.

The Kitchen Fitter role:
- The main trade is Carpentry, undertaking first and second fix installations including kitchen fitting, and undertaking other minor works in plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and stud partition walls.
- You will take pride in delivering an exceptional level of customer service; ensuring you are providing updates and considering their needs at all times while being able to complete your works
- Yours, the team and the customer’s Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and relevant documentation is completed at all stages.
What will you bring as a Kitchen Fitter?
- Qualified to an NVQ 2 level in Carpentry, or similar professional body is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience as a Multi Carpenter/Kitchen Fitter undertaking first and second fix installation works, preferably in the domestic setting, preferably fitting kitchens.
- Motivated in your approach to work and able to work to individual and team output targets
- Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Carpenter Kitchen Fitter role, using your own vehicle and ability to claim travel expenses.
