Templer HomeBuild has a new opportunity for a Compliance Support Administrator to join its dedicated maintenance and refurbishment team in Newton Abbot. Please be aware this opportunity is a part time role working 20 hours only per week. 

Working across the various compliance, repairs, refurbishment, and planned works workstreams you will be supporting the Compliance Contract Manager and Building Surveyor with a wide range of routine and non routine admin tasks efficiently and effectively!

We’re looking for someone with excellent IT and communication skills, a flair for detail, accuracy and following things through to completion, along with the confidence and keenness to learn, develop into this role long-term. Sound like you?

The Compliance Support Administrator role:

  • To support Compliance Contract Manager and Building Surveyor with a wide range of administrative tasks efficiently
  • To liaise with and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers
  • Assist with communications such as creating letters/templates and written communication to customers
  • Assisting the Compliance Building Surveyor with updating compliance system(s) following Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs)
  • Assisting the Compliance Building Surveyor with programming and monitoring actions from fire door inspections
  • Compiling and issuing overview reports relating to actions across the workstream
  • Updating systems with completion dates and chasing actions both internally and externally
  • Keeping subcontract quotes log up to date and issuing orders to sub-contractors

What will you bring to the Compliance Support Administrator role?

  • You will possess strong communication and organisational skills, being able to delivery and gain results
  • Work well on own initiative and a excellent team player also
  • Experience of managing systems including, logging troubleshooting, reporting & managing media files
  • Works consistent to deliver accurate work in a timely manner
  • GCSEs, grade C or above or equivalent including English and Maths or equivalent
  • Significant experience in managing communications, creating & issuing custom correspondence to a high professional standard.
  • Experience/proven knowledge of contract coordination In accordance with BSMs.
